HelleniQ Energy

Announced that together with ExxonMobil and Energean, has signed a Farm-In agreement regarding the participation of ExxonMobil in the Block 2 concession, which is located in the northwestern Ionian Sea. According to the agreement, ExxonMobil will acquire a 60% interest in the concession. Energean shall retain a 30% interest, reduced from its original holding of 75%, while the HelleniQ Energy shall retain a 10% interest compared with its initial share of 25%. Energean will continue to serve as Operator during the exploration phase. In the event of a hydrocarbon discovery, ExxonMobil will assume operatorship during the development phase. The consortium is expected to make a decision regarding the commencement of drilling activities in the near future. The completion of the transaction remains subject to applicable government approvals and the fulfillment of customary closing deliverables.
