Announced that its new energy subsidiary ATLANTIC – SEE TRADE LNG (ALTANTIC SEE) in which it owns 60% (DEPA owns remaining 40%) signed a 20-year contract with US company Venture Global to purchase at least 0.5mn tons LNG annually, effective from January 1st, 2030. According to the SPA, ALTANTIC SEE could increase quantities to up to 1.5mn tons annually. It is noted that this is the first LNG supply agreement between US and Greece. In addition, ALTANTIC SEE signed an MoU with Naftogaz of Ukraine for a purchase of up to 0.7mn tons LNG annually for 20 years, effective from January 1st, 2030. Finally, ALTANTIC SEE signed MoUs with Romanian energy supplier NOVA Power & Gas and Romanian transmission gas operator Transgaz a 20-year agreement for the supply of up to 1.4mn tons LNG, effective from January 1st, 2030.
