ATHEX made a modest start to the week in a subdued session, driven by a profit taking in banks. Specifically, the General Index retreated by 0.25% to 2,056.56 units, with trading volume declining to €163.4mn (blocks at €21.5mn). Banks moved in negative territory, led by NBG (-1.1%) and Eurobank (-1%). Beyond banks, Titan (-1%) and HelleniQ Energy (-1%) were among the main laggards. On the flip side, OPAP (+1.1%) and GEK TERNA (+0.7%) were among the main winners.
