Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

How do I get a Piraeus e-loan?

What is Piraeus brainy?

  • Piraeus Brainy is a Robo Advisor application, which means it is an affordable digital financial service that uses technology to automate investments based on each investor’s capital, goals, and stock market trends.
  • The composition of each investor’s portfolio is automatically rebalanced whenever market trends require it.
  • The term “robotic” refers to the fact that these services are almost entirely digital and that smartphones, computers, or tablets are used to access and interact with your accounts
 

How do I become a Brainy client?

  • The Piraeus Brainy app is available for mobile devices with iOS or Android, as well as via web.
  • After downloading Piraeus Brainy, you will need to complete a short questionnaire that helps us understand your personal financial goals, your experience in international investments, and your attitude towards the risk of losing money (risk profile). Based on your answers, we will suggest an investment strategy.
  • To start our collaboration, you will need to sign the relevant agreement and provide the necessary documentation.
  • Once your investment account is opened at Piraeus Securities, you can add funds to it by easily transferring money from your bank.
  • To open a Piraeus Brainy account, a minimum of €300 is required. Once deposited, we will begin investing for you according to the investment strategy you have chosen.
  • You will be able to monitor your investments daily through the mobile app of our new Piraeus Brainy platform or via the web.
 

What is the cost of the Piraeus Brainy service?

Piraeus Brainy applies pricing based on the average total valuation of your portfolio, with a cost of 0.75% annually, calculated quarterly. There are no additional charges or hidden fees. Third-party charges (transaction taxes, stock exchange and clearing commissions, etc.) are covered by us on your behalf. For example, if the average value of a portfolio over one year is €4,000, the annual fee will be €30.

In what areas does Piraeus Brainy allocate its investments?

  • Primarily, your investments will include international market equities (Eurozone, USA, UK, Japan, emerging markets), government or corporate bonds (from the aforementioned markets), and soon commodities and crypto.
  • Specifically, equities may either be those that make up an index (e.g., NASDAQ), belong to a sector (e.g., technology), or refer to a geographic region (e.g., USA, Eurozone, Asia, etc.).
  • These investments are achieved through Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
  • The type and quantity of ETFs that make up the portfolio selected for each Piraeus Brainy investor are determined by the risk level chosen (conservative, dynamic, etc.) and the choices of Piraeus Group managers.
 

How and when will I be informed about my transactions? Will I receive statements on a regular basis?

Through the Piraeus Brainy app, you will be able to find all the information regarding your portfolio and its transactions. At the end of each month, you will receive a detailed statement.

Can I reinvest? What is the minimum required amount?

You can reinvest whenever you wish; the minimum required amount is €100.

Can I liquidate? What is the minimum withdrawal amount?

You are free to liquidate whenever you choose, with a minimum withdrawal of €100. The money will be credited to your designated bank account within 3 business days. Piraeus Securities will strictly use the bank account you have specified.

What types of investments can I expect to find in my Piraeus brainy account?

  • Piraeus Brainy invests almost exclusively clients’ funds in Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). An ETF, also known as a “tracker,” is a product that follows a stock market index, a category of bonds, or a combination of products.
  • By tracking an index (e.g., NASDAQ, FTSE 100, etc.), an ETF is equivalent to investing in the products of that index.
  • From the thousands of available products, we choose those with high liquidity (meaning they can be bought or sold instantly), primarily in European markets.  By also using ETFs, we gain the flexibility to invest in any global region, economic sector, or investment category.
 

How is my personal data secured?

Piraeus Securities recognizes the importance of electronic transaction security and takes all necessary measures, fully complying with the principles of the EU GDPR regulation, applying the most modern practices. On the service’s website, you will find a detailed description of our policy for protecting our clients’ personal data.

What is the reference currency of the portfolio? Can I have other currency than the Euro?

The reference currency in your portfolio is the euro.

Can I change my risk profile? Can I have multiple profiles? Do I need to sign a new contract and questionnaire again?

Yes, under certain conditions. You will need to contact us.

Can I have co-beneficiaries?

Piraeus brainy does not support accounts with co-beneficiaries.

Can I transfer my portfolio to another brokerage firm?

No, this option is not available. If you wish to transfer, the portfolio must be liquidated, and you will be given the proceeds of the sale.

I already have investments with Piraeus. Why can’t you take my details from Piraeus? Why do I need to sign a new questionnaire?

If you are a Piraeus customer, you will need to open an investment account with Piraeus Securities to access our online platform. During the opening process, you also need to fill out a new questionnaire.

If you are a customer of Piraeus Securities, the only action required is to accept the Piraeus brainy contract through our Portal and fill in the questionnaire. This will redefine your investment risk profile for Piraeus brainy.
